Building Work at Botley Medical Centre

Building work will commence on Monday the 8th July at Botley Medical Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause advance. We are working towards making the Practice lovely and new for our patients!

FRIDAY DROP IN CLINICS

After trialling and auditing our appointment system, we have found that the number of appointments used during the drop in clinic are actually less than the ones that are offered during a normal clinic. Therefore the Practice have decided to stop this service.

We will be now offering our normal clinics on a Friday which can either be pre booked in advance or booked on the day, to allow more patients to be seen by the Doctors.

Thank you for your understanding.

This week Dr Maddy Podichetty has left Botley Medical Centre.

We all wish her the best of luck with her new commitments!

If you were one of her patients you will have been now transferred to a different doctor's list. It can take a bit of time to get used to a new doctor but if you feel you would like to change , please, do not hesitate to let us know in writing and we will do our best to accommodate you with a different doctor.

We encourage our patients to request your prescriptions online. This is the safest and easiest way to make sure you have the medicine you require.

You will need to register for on line access to order repeat prescriptions, this will also enable you to book appointments on line and to view a summary of your medical records.

We also encourage patients to nominate a pharmacist so that we can send your request electronically, saving paper and reducing the waiting time for you to collect your prescription.

To register for the online service please complete the registration form which you can print from our download section on this site, or alternatively you can collect a form from reception at the surgery, or click on this link Patient Access online Registration Form

Please hand the form to reception, who will generate a username and password for you and supply you with full instructions. Please bring some photo ID with the form as for confidentiality reasons we need to verify we are giving the log in details to the correct person.

Allow 2 working days for your prescription to be ready.

Using the online repeat prescription service, you may request that your prescription is sent to a local pharmacy.

Please note that if your medication is due for review the process may take a little longer and you may need to see the doctor pharmacist or nurse before your next prescription is issued.

If you have any questions about the online prescription service or require assistance, please click here to send us a message.

Please note as well as our online service, you can request your repeat prescription either by post, fax or bringing your request into the surgery.

For safety reasons we do not take repeat prescription requests over the telephone.
