The Flu season is already here!. Please, book your appointment for the next Flu clinics held at the surgery:

Kennington Health Centre: Saturday 5th of October. Patients "over 65" yrs old

If you already have an appointment with any of the Doctors, Nurses or Health Care Assistants for any other issue, please ask them for your flu jab during the appointment.

Building Work at Botley Medical Centre

Building work commenced on Monday the 8th July at Botley Medical Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause advance. We are working towards making the Practice lovely and new for our patients!



To Botley Medical Practice

By Bus

Bus numbers are displayed at the bus stops also the direction the bus is going

NO 35 to Oxford get off in the centre of town nearest to St Frideswide Square then walk to Frideswide Square or Castle Street and take the number 4, 4A, S1,11, 4B to Elms Parade Botley when you get off the bus cross the road and Elms Road where the Medical Centre is located is a short walk to the top of the road.

To return to Kennington take any bus (4, 4A,4B) going into Oxford and walk back to St. Aldates where the 35 stops.

By Car

Take the bypass toward Botley (north) it is easier to take the slip road off at Harcout Hill (about two miles along the bypass from Kennington) and go down toward Botley i.e. right off the slip road. When you reach the Botley shopping centre go to the traffic lights at the Botley Road making sure you stay in the inside lane.  Take the turning left and almost immediately get over to the middle of the road for the right turn into Elms Road where the Practice is located, at the top of the road.

By Bicycle

Follow the road then cycle track towards the north on the bypass and then follow instructions as for the car.

To Kennington Health Centre

By Bus

Take the bus into Oxford (4,4A,S1,11,4B) and walk to St Aldates where the 35 stops.

The Heath Centre is located in the middle of the main road through Kennington if you are unsure ask the driver, it is opposite the Pub called The Tandem on your left and very near the Co-op on your right.

To return take the 35 bus into Oxford ask for the stop nearest to St Frideswide Square or Castle Street. Take the bus back to Botley (4, 4A,4B)

By Car

Drive down the bypass and come off at the junction for Kennington, Egrove Park; it is only one junction from Botley and should take about 10/15 minutes depending on the time of day. You will need to allow more time at 'rush hour', 5/6 pm and probable on Fridays.

Once in Kennington drive through the village and look for The Co-op the Health Centre is just after this on your right and there is a car park. The Tandem pub is opposite.

By bicycle

There is a cycle track along the bypass; follow this and then directions as for the car.
