This week Dr Maddy Podichetty has left Botley Medical Centre.
We all wish her the best of luck with her new commitments!
If you were one of her patients you will have been now transferred to a different doctor's list. It can take a bit of time to get used to a new doctor but if you feel you would like to change , please, do not hesitate to let us know in writing and we will do our best to accommodate you with a different doctor.
Please call reception to book an appointment.
The Midwife is in clinic on Wednesday and Friday, follow up bookings are in the afternoon and new bookings are in the morning.
Minor Surgery is performed after consultation with the GP. If you require minor surgery inform reception and an appointment will be sent to you for the procedure.
Monitoring checks are undertaken by the doctors and nurses.
Advice is given by all the GPs. Two of the practice nurses can give advice, our Advanced Nurse Practitioner can give advice and prescribe.
Anne Kellagher is the Health Visitor for both sites.
Patients are charged a fee for services that are not part of the NHS. These include medicals for HGV, insurances, driving competencies, the completion of forms, writing letters that are not referral letters, travel vaccinations. A list of charges is at reception.

Seasonal Flu Vaccinations 2018/19
It is really important that we protect ourselves and those around us by having a flu vaccination before the winter sets in.
The following groups of people are entitled to a free Flu vaccination at their GP surgery:
This year there is a different vaccine for the over 65s. Most children will receive an application of the vaccine by a nasal spray. To avoid confusion we are offering different flu clinics for the different groups.
If we have any vaccines over at the end of the programme will offer these to patients who do not fall within the at risk groups. If you would like a vaccination but are not entitled to a free one of the NHS you can go to any pharmacist advertising the service and pay a small fee for this.
Please contact the surgery to make an appointment for your flu jab. We will be contacting you if you have not attended for your appointment by the end of November.
Please note the new telephone number for appointments is 01865 730911
